Journey with Horses LLC

Fred Rogers (aka Mister Rogers) once said that who we are inside is what helps us make and do everything in life. Sadly, we tend to lose sight of who we are as we assume the many roles others expect of us, from parents and spouses to caregivers and employees and many more. As an adult survivor, I lost sight of myself while navigating a dysfunctional family, managing a career, coping with the loss of loved ones, and becoming all the things others expected of me. As my priorities changed and I realized that the priorities of others aren’t my own, I found that I needed to rediscover who I was inside. I discovered I was best able to do this by connecting with nature and embracing the quiet it offers. In that space, a chance encounter with a horse showed me that our four-legged friends can offer profound insight into ourselves.

As Mr. Rogers said, it’s who we are inside that makes everything else possible. Reinvigorated and equipped with peace and motivation I hadn’t known in many years, I embraced my passion for creating a safe place for others to have that same experience. I become a certified Life Coach and Certified Equine Assisted Coach, which gave me the tools to help others rediscover who they are inside so that they can do and be what they dream. Our farm in Southeast Ohio provides guests with a safe and peaceful rural space to reconnect with themselves and start the process of becoming themselves. I offer as much, or as a little, structured timed and activities as guests require, plus quality time with horses, cats, trees, a serene pond, open sky, and much more.
