Words Between The Lines: A Creative Blackout Poetry Experience

Words Between The Lines: A Creative Blackout Poetry Experience

KamilouBruxelles, Bruxelles
Friday, Feb 20 from 6 pm to 8 pm CET
Overview

This playful, welcoming workshop invites you to explore self-empowerment through the art of blackout poetry.

This playful, welcoming workshop invites you to explore self-empowerment through the art of blackout poetry. Black Out Poetry, or erasure poetry, involves selectively covering words from a printed page to make a new composition. Using existing texts, you’ll uncover words and phrases that resonate with you, transforming ordinary pages into something personal and meaningful. In this workshop, we will examine ourselves and our views of the world, exploring how perspective and experience shape how we bring ourselves to the table.

No writing experience needed—just curiosity. Along the way, you’ll slow down, tap into your inner voice, and connect with like-minded people in a relaxed, creative space where discovery and expression come first.

Get ready to experiment, play, meet others and have fun.

If you're willing to experiment, take risks, play, meet others and have fun, this meetup is for you. We started this group because like any skill, creativity needs practice too.
