About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Join us for an inspiring evening of reflection, dialogue, and community as we celebrate the launch of Women, Intersectionality & Europe, the debut book by author and inclusion expert Tamara Makoni.

In collaboration with The Tide, this event will explore the stories, data, and lived experiences that form the backbone of Tamara's powerful new work. The book shines a light on the diverse realities of women across the European continent — not just the EU — and makes a compelling case for why identity must be central to how we understand and address the challenges women face today.

With a special focus on the chapter dedicated to women and the climate crisis, the conversation will unpack how environmental change disproportionately affects women and what inclusive, intersectional solutions are needed to drive sustainable change.

Expect an engaging evening featuring: 🌍 A reading and discussion with Tamara Makoni 🎤 A fireside chat with The Tide on gender, climate, and inclusion 💬 Space for audience Q&A and networking

Whether you work in policy, activism, education, or are simply passionate about intersectional feminism and justice in Europe — this is a moment not to miss.
