Over dit evenement

The Art & History Museum is hosting a writing session as part of Wiki Women Design. The focus of this writing session is on women designers, who are represented in the museum: either through their work or because their names surfaced during research. In addition, participants will be introduced to 'Arts de la Femme' and will be able to delve into the theme of women in the institutional history of museums in Belgium, and the lace and costume collection of the Royal Museums of Art and History.

Schedule of the workshop:

  • 10:00-10:30: Welcome
  • 10:30-11:00: Introduction by the Flanders Architecture Institute on the Wiki Women Design project and Wikipedia
  • 11:00-11:15: Assignment topics & associated documentation
  • 11:15-14:00: Participant reads up on and writes text on topic
