Welcome Spring

Come to celebrate the Spring - “Nauryz” with us, this year with a “Welcome Spring!” gathering with snacks and music at restaurant Trechiavi in Luxembourg City on Saturday 4 April 2026. The entrance is 15 euros for adults and 5 euros for children. Nauryz (Nowruz, Novruz, Nooruz) , festivity of over 3,000 years history, was recognized by UNESCO as an intangible heritage of humanity since 2016. Nauryz is celebrated as the beginning of the new year by more than 300 million people all around the world. It marks the first day of spring, the day of the astronomical vernal equinox – March 21-22. Since the celebration of Nauryz is not linked to any religion, ethnicity, or region, but common for every human being, Nauryz is a wonderful facilitator of the philosophy of “living together”.
