One thing is certain: a lot of innovative new possibilities are coming. But where does the hype stop and where are the really useful applications? And what can these mean for your business in concrete terms?

Get to know Web 3.0

During our Web3Walks, experts will guide you through the essence of Web 3.0 step by step:

• How is Web 3.0 different from the internet we know today?
• What new use cases are coming?
• Who are the key players in the market?
• What skills will you need?
• Where is the added value for your organization?

Experts will explain the basics of Web 3.0 in 5 episodes, while you follow along on your laptop or, why not, on your smartphone while taking a breath of fresh air outside. The working language will be English. After each webinar, you will receive the presentation with the speaker's contact details so you can ask questions at your convenience.

• Tuesday, 25 April, 11:00 am to 12:00 noon: "Are you ready for the next digital transformation?", with Stijn Viaene, Professor and Partner at Vlerick Business School & KU Leuven. He will be interviewed by Christophe Maertens, Co-lead Blockchain4Belgium
• Tuesday, 16 May, 11:00 am to 12:00 noon: "What’s the link between Web3 and Artificial Intelligence?", with Geertrui Mieke De Ketelaere, Strategic Advisor AI imec and Adj. Professor Vlerick, DigitalMind. She will be interviewed by Axel Legay, Professor at the Catholic University of Louvain and Head of Cyberwal at Digital Wallonia. This session will be also organized in the framework of SustAIn.brussels and VLAIO Industriepartnerschap.

Special training sessions

As part of this programme, two practical technical talks will be organised for technical decision-makers, developers, engineers… on how to transition from Web2 to Web3. Both talks will be given by Shane Deconinck, Web3 Lead & Research Manager, Howest. In ENGLISH

2. Tuesday June 6 at 1:30pm – 5pm: at Agoria Bluepoint in Brussels
