Event information

Higher Education Institutions are the primary places where formal education is delivered. Advancements in agri-food knowledge and technologies, coupled with innovative methods of co-constructing knowledge and competences, are vital for preparing agri-food game-changers to manage the sector’s twin transitions: green and digital.

“Training for the Future: Innovative Design Methods to Advance Agri-Food Education” is a GEEK4Food teacher-training event hosted by the CASEE conference 2024 in Cluj-Napoca. The training, offered free of charge to academic staff, aims to impart skills and methods for designing effective and efficient courses to equip talents within the agri-food systems with necessary competencies. This one-day workshop, dedicated to educators and curriculum designers, will offer innovative approaches for designing courses that achieve the learning outcomes necessary for the twin transition.

Join us at the CASEE conference in Cluj-Napoca on June 20th to improve your teaching portfolio, delve into the complexities of sustainable food systems, and design transformative educational courses.
