About this event

  • 5 hours

Feminism is a multifaceted movement, far from homogeneous. It encompasses various types of feminism, each with their unique emphases and objectives. In this session of The Next Wave, we delve deeper into Afrofeminism. We’ll be guided by the insightful expertise of Lila Mukayisire. At the moment, Lila and the coordinator of The Next Wave are actively brainstorming the session. We’ll share further details regarding the precise angle on Afrofeminism later.

The session is planned on the 5th of October from 12h until 17h (lunch will be provided). We will meet in the RoSa-bibliotheek (Zennestraat 40) in Brussels to discuss Afrofeminism, and to get to know each other or to see each other (again) of course!

Don't miss out on this opportunity to amplify our voices and work towards a future where gender equality is not just a goal, but a reality for all. Together, we can make a difference!

Also, we have an online community for The Next Wave, be sure to join it! https://www.facebook.com/groups/thenextwavevrouwenraad/

We really are looking forward to it and hope to see you all soon!
