About this event

Registration for the conference will start at 13.30 with panels starting at 14.00 assembling relevant EU and international policymakers, regulators and crypto industry representatives around four themes as follows:

• “The new regulatory paradigm for crypto markets” – This panel will discuss how EU regulators and the centralized and decentralized crypto-asset industry are preparing for the arrival of MiCA, the TFR and the AML/CFT review package, as well as for the upcoming focus on DeFi and NFTs.

• “The future of digital money” – This discussion will focus on how private stablecoin markets can co-exist and work alongside a digital euro and central bank currencies (CBDCs).

• “The view from outside the EU” – This panel will bring together international regulators, standard-setting organizations and foreign actors who will provide their perspective on how regulatory frameworks are evolving outside the EU. It will also touch on how we can build an internationally consistent framework for crypto markets.

• “Going green?” – This panel will revolve around how crypto market developments including DeFI-based projects such as ReFi (Regenerate Finance) can help address environmental and energy concerns and accompany the climate change transition.

Notably, the conference will also include an NFT art show exhibition where artists will display some of their creations to attendees.
