Tijdens deze inspirerende workshop door Roua Alhalabi & Ella Brouwer, ontdek je de kracht van natuurlijke kleurstoffen én maak je jouw eigen geprinte sjaal met bloemen en kruiden. Leer over slow fashion en neem een uniek accessoire mee naar huis dat je zelf hebt gecreëerd.

Wat kun je verwachten?

🔸 Introductie in slow fashion & duurzaamheidWat is slow fashion? Waarom is het zo belangrijk in deze tijd?We duiken kort in de wereld van bewuste kledingkeuzes en hoe jij daarin verschil kunt maken.

🔸 Wat betekent eco-dye?Je leert hoe natuurlijke verf werkt, welke technieken er zijn en waarom dit beter is voor mens en planeet dan synthetische alternatieven.

🔸 Aan de slag! ontwerp je eigen sjaalJe krijgt een sjaal gemaakt van leftover katoen en gaat zelf aan de slag met de verschillende ingrediënten. Denk aan goudsbloem, eucalyptus of kurkuma, elk met hun eigen kleur en symboliek. We begeleiden je stap voor stap bij het creëren van jouw unieke ontwerp.

🔸 Extra: tips om thuis kleding te upcyclenJe gaat naar huis met niet alleen een prachtige sjaal, maar ook met praktische tips en inspiratie om thuis je eigen kleding op een duurzame manier te transformeren.

🔸 What is Eco-Dyeing?Discover how natural dyeing works using botanical ingredients like petals, peels, and roots. Learn about the different eco-dye techniques and why they are a sustainable alternative to synthetic dyes.

🔸 Let’s Create – Design Your Own ScarfYou’ll receive a scarf made from leftover cotton and get hands-on with a beautiful selection of natural ingredients such as marigold, eucalyptus, and turmeric – each carrying its own color and symbolism. We’ll guide you step-by-step to design your unique piece.

🔸 Bonus: Tips to Upcycle Your Clothes at HomeAlongside your self-made scarf, you’ll take home practical tips and tricks to start transforming your wardrobe into a more sustainable one.
