Positive Intelligence | EBBC Antwerp
Overview
Positive Intelligence: Why Only 20% of Teams and Individuals Achieve Their True Potential and How You Can Achieve Yours
---------
What to expect
What if your biggest roadblocks to success aren’t external — but internal?
During this session, we’ll explore how PQ (Positive Intelligence Quotient) — the measure of how often your mind serves you rather than sabotages you — can be strengthened to unlock your full potential, both professionally and personally.
---------
About the session
In this session, Iryna Gontar (Performance & Balance Coach) will lead an interactive discussion inspired by Shirzad Chamine’s work, helping us uncover:
- The 10 "Saboteurs" that limit performance and fulfillment
- The 5 core mental powers that build Positive Intelligence
- Practical tools to increase our PQ, focus, resilience, and peace of mind
Expect a mix of theory, discussion, and self-reflection exercises.
You don’t need to have read the book, but you’ll get more out of it if you explore these talks from Shirzad Chamine before joining:
- Know your inner saboteurs: Shirzad Chamine at TEDxStanford (20mins)
- Positive Intelligence | Shirzad Chamine | Talks at Google (60mins)

About the book
In Positive Intelligence, Stanford lecturer and executive coach Shirzad Chamine reveals how hidden mental “Saboteurs” quietly undermine our performance, happiness, and relationships — and how we can retrain the mind to work for us, not against us.
Positive Intelligence introduces a science-backed framework for mastering your inner world. Drawing on research with hundreds of CEOs and Stanford executives, Chamine shows that our internal “Saboteurs” — like the Judge, Controller, Victim, or Pleaser — cause up to 90% of unnecessary stress and block access to our true potential.
By developing the mental “Sage” powers of empathy, curiosity, creativity, and calm, we can improve our PQ and see measurable gains in performance and well-being — often in as little as 21 days.
