About this event

Physiotherapy for patients with COPD

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is an umbrella term for a group of lung diseases that include chronic bronchitis, emphysema and small airways disease. Lung damage over a long period of time impairs the flow of air in and out of the lungs and causes breathlessness.

Physiotherapy staff have a key role to play in the delivery of pulmonary rehabilitation programmes. Physiotherapists have advanced knowledge and skills in exercise prescription and therapeutic exercise, assessment and diagnosis, management of long-term conditions...

This webinar will offer training and be a place for discussion on how Physiotherapy professionals can get involved in the rehabilitation of COPD patients.

Zoom link will be sent by email to all registered participants ahead of the event.
