Photography Critique Workshop
Receive constructive feedback and take your photography to the next level.
One of the fastest ways to grow as a photographer is to have your work reviewed by an experienced editor. In this interactive workshop, participants are invited to submit a selection of their photographs for a live critique in a supportive, respectful, and engaging environment.
Drawing on my experience as a photographer, college instructor, and former picture editor, I'll provide honest, practical feedback that will help you understand not only what works in an image, but why.
What you'll learn
- How to identify your strongest photographs
- Understanding composition, timing, and visual impact
- Editing with intention rather than emotion
- Recognising recurring strengths and weaknesses
- Developing a consistent photographic style
- Building stronger photo series and portfolios
- Learning to critique your own work
- Understanding what makes an image memorable
Each critique is tailored to the photographer's goals and experience level, making every workshop unique. You'll also learn from the work of other participants, gaining new perspectives and ideas for your own photography.
