Open Beer Days - 13th edition

About this event

During the first days of September, we open our gates to the lambik beer aficionado and 3 Fonteinen fans and propose a varied selection of our newest creations and classics, both for drink-in and take out.

As it has always been the case, entrance to our Open Beer Days event is free of charge for everyone who would like to attend.

In addition, we will also sell a limited number of tickets with extra features and side events. These tickets are available for Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, tickets are not required.

Which tickets are available?

Aside from the free entrance, there are two types of tickets available, of which the detailed description can be found below. Children under 16 do not require an Early bird ticket and have free access to the event. Tickets will be sold during different time slots !

Early bird ticket – €60

These tickets are for sale on Thursday, July 22nd at 7 PM. The maximum number of tickets per order is limited to four. Tickets can be purchased for Friday and/or Saturday and consist of:

Early bird ticket + lambik dinner Sir Kwinten - €320

Tickets are only available for Friday, September 3rd + limited to 21 seats (maximum two tickets per order) and consist of a well-filled and all-encompassing unique experience:

  • All elements of the early bird ticket – early entry with free coffee and koeken, food and coffee vouchers and a limited-edition bottle.
  • A gastronomic dinner consisting of six courses at Sir Kwinten in Lennik, paired with a selection of our limited and vintage lambik beers, with some explanations by 3 Fonteinen team members.
  • Bus transport from the lambik-O-droom and to Bruxelles-Midi after the dinner – departure at 8 PM, dinner starts at 8:30 PM, and ends around midnight.

All attendees will later receive more details about the menu, as well as the selection of the lambik beers.

Sir Kwinten is located in the centre of beautiful Lennik, in the middle of the Pajottenland. The young team led by chef Glenn Verhasselt (Gault & Millau young top chef of the year 2020 - first chef of Belgium club Prosper Montagné 2017) and sommelier Yanick Dehandschutter (Sommelier of the year 2019, Gault & Millau, best Sommelier of Belgium 2013 - 2014) strives for accessible top gastronomy with a particular attention to food pairing with different drinks.

The restaurant was awarded one Michelin star and a score of 16/20 by Gault & Millau.

Early bird ticket + lambik dinner Humus x Hortense - €350

Tickets are only available for Saturday, September 4th + limited to 23 seats (maximum two tickets per order), and consist of a well-filled and all-encompassing unique experience:

  • All elements of the early bird ticket – early entry with free coffee and koeken, food and coffee vouchers and a limited-edition bottle.
  • A gastronomic evening dinner consisting of five courses (nine dishes) at Humus x Hortense in Brussels, paired with a selection of our limited and vintage lambik beers, with explanations by 3 Fonteinen team members.
  • Bus transport from the lambik-O-droom and to Bruxelles-Midi after the dinner – departure at 8 PM, dinner starts at 8:30 PM, and ends around midnight.

Humus x Hortense is a sustainable gastronomic restaurant in a beautiful location in Brussels. The botanical tasting menu follows not four, but 24 micro-seasons and in function of the daily harvest. Chef Nicolas Decloedt (Mugaritz, In de Wulf, Bon Bon) was awarded Gault & Millau vegetable chef of the year in 2019.

The restaurant is in the top ten of the best vegetarian restaurants in the world, and holds a score of 15/20 from Gault & Millau and one green star from Michelin, which is the highest honour worldwide for a sustainable restaurant.

Terms and Conditions

  • Each ticket can be exchanged only once.
  • Each ticket will be verified upon entrance. As a result, each participant is required to bring a valid ID.
  • Additional details of each participant (eg. first & last name), may be required during the checkout process.
  • Additional fees are charged for administrative and payment handling provided by third parties.
  • By purchasing this ticket you acknowledge to have the minimum legal age for consuming and/or purchasing alcohol.

Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen is one of the last traditional lambic breweries and authentic geuzeblenders. Rooted in the Senne valley, fueled by wild bacteria and a legacy of over 130 years,the ambition is to create an immersive experience around traditional lambic and geuze, in and around Beersel.
