Ondernemerscafé - English edition

Get inspired with a talk from an experienced entrepreneur, student pitches, and networking. This is a special English edition open to all.

On March 31, the Entrepreneurs Café will look a little different. For this edition we’re welcoming international students and guests, so the entire evening will be fully in English.

As always, we kick off the night with an inspiring talk from an experienced entrepreneur. This time we welcome Gilles Vancoillie, Founder & Director of MoonMonster Studios: a Belgian indie game studio on a mission to bring humor and character-driven storytelling to the heart of gaming.

At the beginning of April, MoonMonster Studios will release their debut VR game Space Control, so you’ll be among the first to hear about it. Gilles will also share the six-year journey behind the studio, including challenges like starting a company right before a pandemic and navigating a co-founder stepping away. And of course, you’ll have the chance to ask Gilles anything you want to know.

After the talk, the stage is open for three student pitches. Two of the pitches will be presented by exchange students from Morocco. As part of the audience, you can ask questions, share feedback, and engage with the ideas and projects being presented.

We’ll end the evening the way we like it best: with a drink and informal networking at the bar in Salie at Hangar K.
