Espace Qartier, in collaboration with SubLab ASBL, UMI Brussels, Bruxelles Mobilité and STIB, is pleased to invite you to the opening of the Nocturnae exhibition on Friday, June 20.
✨ On the program: guided tour, performances, DJ set, snacks and drinks, from 5:30pm to 9pm! The exhibition, featuring works by 6 artists, will be open to the public from June 20 until December 2025.
The exhibition NOCTURNÆ, presented by SubLab in collaboration with UMI, explores the reality of nighttime journeys through the lens and experience of six artists. The project is rooted in a universal and pressing theme: the place of women in public space at night.
The night is both a space of emancipation and of threat—a time when freedom and insecurity, excitement and vigilance coexist. NOCTURNÆ seeks to capture these dualities through works that blend urban poetry, photography, embroidery, illustration, and light installations.
