Julian Still (UK / BE fr -nl)Julian has been immersed in complexity for the last 20 years, he was on the first Cynefin course given by Dave Snowden.  His complex skills have been crafted by 20 years of crisis management in the Private sector mainly In Belgium where he lives.These days he goes as a complexity practitioner and miller; he’s a co-worker in an organic multi-stakeholder co-operative - a full chain story of farmers, bakers, organic shops neighbours, co-workers and friends.He is an experienced navigator of complex environments.Christina Stadlbauer (AT / BE / FIN)Christina is an artist, researcher and entrepreneur. She works at the cracks of arts and sciences and develops her research around non-human agencies - collective intelligence, interspecies communication and the relation between culture and nature.Christina works process-based, applies ecosystem thinking, embraces complexity, and is attracted to trans-disciplinary approaches and unconventional solutions.Dorothy Oger (BE Fr-Nl /EN)Dorothy is a trilingual poet, artistic harvester, coach, trainer and facilitator.  Dorothy is a deep listener who reflects complex experiences through poetry and intuitive drawing.  She is skilled at creating a sense of safety and trust while encouraging others to step out of their comfort zone.Dorothy regularly challenges herself to learn new skills and so she often experiences the frustrations of not-knowing and the joys of progress.   Dorothy enjoys utilising whatever is happening in a situation to generate new understanding and/or ways forward.Ruth Raes (BE - Nl-Fr-Eng)Ruth is a challenger of learning processes. She is intrigued by the question of why people and organisations behave the way they behave.  She holds space to grow awareness, to allow people and systems to discover the wisdom inside, to foster the courage to change and the joy to live and work in the uncertainties of complexity.Ruth works as a professional coach for leaders, managers and directors and as a consultant in change projects. Next to that, Ruth is a leader and manager herself, for almost 20 years now. Together with her current team - a team of nurses in palliative homecare - she experiments with self-organisation and workplace learning. As a transition coach, Ruth is also involved in a transition project, led by the Flemish Minister of healthcare, reorganising and integrating the sector of healthcare and well-being in Flanders.Vasileios Basios (GR, BE, UK)Vasileios is a physicist working on the field of `Physics of Complex Systems' and `Nonlinear Dynamics'.Twenty years ago, during his formative years, he obtained his doctorate in the team of Ilya Prigogine (Nobel laureate) and Gregoire Nicolis, both early pioneers of the field.Ever since he is fascinated by the study of the fundamentals of complexity science, the interplay of physics and biology and their philosophical and epistemological implications.Although a `theoretician’ he yearns for the practical implications and applications of complexity theory that enable change our mindset and, thus, our world to a better place.

Why?
We are passionate about complexity. About how we can live and work and thrive in a complex world. We would like to steward a transition from the linear logic of mass consumption and old school management, that seem to be failing, towards an era of compassionate inter-dependent leadership.
 
With whom?
We feel the era of collective working and collective intelligence waiting in the wings, and we want to influence the world around us, choose for ecological sustainability, and a new way of co-creating. We are keen to do this with you and many others. 
We meet lots of people we feel a connection with. Different as we all may be, we share a similar vision, desire and hope for our common future. We meet them in Art of Hosting, in U-lab, Agile and Teal groups. We meet them at universities, working on complexity, end-of-life care, compassionate cities. We meet them in grass-root movements, ethical start-ups and many more. These multi-various groups of change-makers give us hope for the communities of the future.
 
How?
We intend to create a compassionate growing and connecting space so that the ‘Mycelium’ network can grow in the best conditions. Mycelium as a metaphor. A polycentric web, an underground internet, inter-linking the roots of different plants. By linking to the fungal network, plants help their neighbours by sharing nutrients and information or dealing with toxins.
Through Interdependent leadership, create self-organised conditions for growth, with good nutrition, support and energy so that new spores can grow and existing plants find a welcoming place to flourish.
The tools of complexity practitioners help lighten the load of this new world, enable good space to be opened, energy to be optimised and resonance to be surfed. It is also a wonderful source of fun and light and dreams.
 
What can you expect?
We will experience how to develop our "felt sense" and learn to use our complexity compass.  Working with our physical, emotional and intellectual capacities, we will be opening the space for musical, intuitive and spiritual navigation.  We will create learning opportunities and hold time to grow new relationships.
You can expect a non-linear event on how to develop non-judgemental relationships that help us create compassionate environments.
We hope the story of this day is told many times for many years and for many ears.   
We hope this day is the start of many stories, for new chapters and for stories that can be put to rest.
 
What we expect from you
Show up as your whole selves, no roles or hats.  Be ready to engage in the process of learning.  Be willing to build and nurture this space for the future.

English, Dutch and French will be our languages.
We welcome up to 30 participants.
