Sun, light, wind, salinity — these are the common denominators that best describe Contrada Buonivini (Noto), in the heart of the Val di Noto. This corner of eastern Sicily lies on the same parallel as Tunis, where two seas meet and collide: to the south, the Mediterranean through the Strait of Sicily, and to the east, the Ionian Sea. Almost equidistant, their encounter creates a constant, generous breeze — a natural crossroads where currents perpetually challenge one another. The light reflected from these two bodies of water makes the landscape even more extraordinary.

It was here, in this unique setting, that Cantina Marabino was born in 2002.
