  • Several years of clinical practice in pain and cancer care management, and fundamental/clinical research (NIH, Washington DC) .
  • Author of several scientific publications from fundamental research science to clinical research projects, digital health and health economics.

Dr. Konstantinos Kyritsis

  • Co-founder and CEO of Koios Care. An initiative to create a digital biomarker regarding the QoL of Parkinson’s disease patients using off-the-shelf technology.
  • Post-doctoral fellow in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH).
  • His latest R&D accomplishments revolve around how the analysis of micro-behaviors, observed under real-life conditions using off-the-shelf wearable sensors, can reveal important information regarding someone’s behavioral profile. Applications of his research include Parkinson’s disease, eating and smoking behavior, and gait.

Prof. Lennart Jans

  • Head of Clinics in MSK imaging of the department of radiology of Ghent University Hospital in Belgium.
  • Past Chair of the ESSR Arthritis Subcommittee and a member of ASAS and OMERACT.
  • As a musculoskeletal radiologist, his main field of interest is in inflammatory musculoskeletal diseases, with a focus on spondyloarthritis.
  • Author and co-author of about 125 scientific papers, edited the book 'Arthritis Imaging' and co-authored four books.
  • Co-founder of RheumaFinder, that focuses on AI for medical imaging in rheumatic diseases.
