EASPD and Humanitas invite you to Porto, Portugal, on the 14th and 15th of May 2026 for the international conference “Leading Change in Disability Services.”

This event will explore how disability services across Europe can strengthen organisational capacity, modernise management, and develop the skills needed to deliver high-quality, person-centred support in line with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD). Participants will examine innovative approaches to human resources, financial management, digital and sustainable practices, and cross-sector collaboration, while addressing the structural challenges facing services, such as recruitment and retention, governance, and modernisation.

With a unique and interactive programme, this conference will bring together service providers, policymakers, researchers, representatives of persons with disabilities, and community stakeholders to share knowledge, explore practical solutions, and engage in meaningful discussions about the future of disability services in Europe.
