For years, Klazz Brothers & Cuba Percussion have been causing a sensation with their amazing crossover productions of classical, jazz and Cuban music.. The multi-award-winning quintet Klazz Brothers & Cuba Percussion has an extraordinary success story that began in 2000, with over 250,000 CDs sold in Germany alone. At that time, the Klazz Brothers met the Cuban percussionists Alexis Herrera Estevez and Elio Rodriguez Luis on a tour in Cuba. In a spontaneous session, the musicians, who are rooted in such different cultures, intuitively and naturally found a common musical language. Behind the unmistakable dynamic sound of Klazz Brothers & Cuba Percussion stand the highest artistic standards and the greatest care in musical composition. In this way, new, fascinating works with a lot of freedom for improvisation are created. The success story of Klazz Brothers & Cuba Percussion accompanies a variety of extremely successful programs, starting with “Classic meets Cuba”, each of which features the meeting of Western European tradition with Cuban music in the title carry. The orchestral project “Symphonic Salsa” also expands the sound spectrum to include a symphonic dimension.
