Eurocities Working Group Food and Milan Urban Food Policy Pact Regional Forum in Europe meeting in Warsaw (22-23 May 2024)

This event will occur in person in Warsaw; a live stream is planned for a limited part of the event - Register by 15 April

Innovation and resilience in approaching the most urgent challenges for urban food systems are at the center of the next Eurocities WG Food and Milan Urban Food Policy Pact Regional Forum in Warsaw from 22 to 23 May. Warsaw will showcase inspiring examples together with other European cities.

The event will facilitate the exchange of experiences and insights among city representatives. Through workshops, presentations, and site visits, participants will be inspired to co-create solutions to speed up and deepen agrifood transformation towards more inclusive and resilient systems.

Day 1 will feature a presentation from Warsaw, hosting city, and Milan as Chair of the Working Group Food. Afterwards the event will include a workshop on Innovation and stakeholder engagement, as well as a world cafe on Resilience and response to food crises.

Day 2 will be dedicated to a workshop, featuring breakouts discussions around knowledge exchange and replication methodologies with the Food Trails project and how to shape fruitful exchanges and scale up food initiatives. The day will end with local site-visits.

Register by 15 April. As the event has limited capacity, you will receive an official confirmation of your registration upon approval. Please note that the event is primarily aimed at city officers.
