About the Session
As director of the Impact Economy Foundation, Werner Schouten accelerates the transition towards an Impact Economy – an economy in which work, innovation and entrepreneurship contribute as effectively as possible to creating well-being for all. It’s an economy in which we redefine value in business from financial value to societal impact, moving from prices, profits and returns to true prices, true profits and true returns. To achieve this, the Impact Economy Foundation developed together with the Harvard Business School a framework for Impact Accounting, facilitating organisations to value business impacts and integrate these in the heart of their decision-making.
