Discover the traditional pasta of Abruzzo—Maccheroni alla Chitarra! Named after the chitarra (guitar-like) tool used to cut it, this square-shaped pasta is also known as Tonnarelli in Lazio. You’ll learn to make it from scratch using semola flour and eggs, just as it’s been done for centuries.
Guided by pasta-maker Andrea and chef Luciano, you’ll master this unique technique while exploring the history and culture behind the dish. After class, enjoy the pasta you made, served with a perfectly paired delicious sauce!
