The work­shop aims to provide man­u­fac­tur­ers, build­ing de­sign­ers and con­struct­ors with the ne­ces­sary know-how to de­vel­op and prop­erly in­stall en­ergy-ef­fi­cient build­ing com­pon­ents. The speak­ers will share valu­able tips for op­tim­ising con­nec­tion de­tails, de­mon­strate the im­port­ance of run­ning thermal sim­u­la­tions, and elab­or­ate on the Bel­gi­an an­swer to the European dir­ect­ives for Zero En­ergy Build­ings. Fur­ther­more, they will present cur­rent test­ing and cer­ti­fic­a­tion schemes and round off the pro­gramme with a tour of "HAM­STER", the new hot box– cold box test­ing fa­cil­ity at Build­wise.
