Floor Denecker is a researcher who now works independently as a data analyst and research consultant (Studio Data). In her talk, she will guide you through the process of conducting research to get know "users" better. She gives insights about the in's and out's of desk research, where she’ll cover two key areas:
Trend reports – where to find them, how to read them, and what kind of actionable information they can reveal.
Online databases – how to navigate them and extract meaningful insights.
At the end, she will also give some attention to "collecting your own data" – if needed, how to supplement your research with relevant data collection methods.
This session will show you how to conduct user research with a plan!
The event takes place in The Enterprise (which can be found in the cellar of The Penta) near the end.
