Europe’s action to fight AMR through infection prevention
Overview
Please be aware that registration is mandatory
Access to this meeting is granted on an invitation-only basis
This roundtable debate, marking the World AMR Awareness Week, will bring together relevant policy makers and the ENIPAR members, including industry representatives, healthcare professionals (HCPs), patients and patient groups advocates, and key opinion leaders (academics) to network, share expertise and discuss equal access to and use of available tools for infection prevention and timely diagnostic decisions, evidence-based interventions and quality of health care.
Discussions aim to refer to high standards of infection prevention and control, along with the prudent use of antibiotics in communities, hospitals and long-term care facilities, as ways to reduce the emergence and development of the critical issue of antimicrobial resistance.
How can we ensure Member States reach the 2030 targets of the 2023 Council Recommendation? Through targeted keynote speeches, this meeting will foster collaboration and consensus among key stakeholders to address the challenges facing the AMR fight in Europe.
