EJN Member day featuring working groups, General Assembly, and fringe concerts in cafes throughout the city in the evening.

Day 2 (Friday 13 September)

Open to the public, a day filled with panels, discussion groups, keynotes, showcases during the day and fringe concerts in cafes throughout the city in the evening.

Day 3 (Saturday 14 September)

Open to the public, a day filled with panels, discussion groups, keynotes, showcases during the day and an immersive concert by amazing Belgian band ‘Schntzl’ in hotspot Wintercircus in the evening.

Day 4 (Sunday 15 September)

Cultural tours across the city including a musical tour of historical sites in Ghent accompanied by live piano music and more!

Ghent + jazz = … MAGIC, so the European Jazz Conference will be held in Ghent from September 12 to 15, 2024! The most important jazz organizations in Europe are coming to meet our fantastic Belgian jazz scene. VI.BE, JazzLab, HaConcerts and EJN will transform the city of Ghent into a jazz mecca for three days for this tenth edition.

The European Jazz Conference in Ghent 2024 is co-organised by EJN, VI.BE, JazzLab and Ha Concerts and it is possible thanks to Creative Europe, Bijloke Muziekcentrum, Stad Gent, Vlaamse Gemeenschap, Lotto, Sabam for Culture, PlayRight, Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, Wallonie-Bruxelles-Musiques, Museact, Belgium Booms, VIERNULVIER Gent, DEMOCRAZY, Gent Jazz & Omer.

I am not an EJN member, which ticket type should I choose?

You should choose the STANDARD ticket type for €260, that covers entrance to all the European Jazz Conference sessions, concerts and cultural visits, plus lunches and dinners on Friday and Saturday.

What is covered by EJN for each EJN member organisation?

EJN and the EJC24 hosts are covering max. 3 nights of accommodation and a travel reimbursement (max. 300, or €350 if the travel is done entirely by train) for 1 representative of each EJN member organisation. We also provide a code for 2 free registrations and a free “30 under 30” ticket.

How do I access the free registrations for representatives from EJN member organisations?

We provided each EJN member organisation with a unique LINK and CODE that gives access to 2 free registrations for EJC 2024. Please check the emails you received from office@europejazz.net or contact us for receiving the code again. By using your code, the EJN member free ticket type appears.

How do I access the “30 under 30” promotion?

If you are born after 31/12/1993 and you are representing an EJN member organisation you can access the “30 under 30” promotion by using the unique CODE/LINK of your EJN member organisation. The “30 under 30” promotion gives an additional free registration and a travel reimbursement (max. €100).

I work for a EJN member, and am turning 30 this year before EJC. Can I use the ‘30 under 30’ ticket?

Every representative of an EJN member organisation born after 31/12/1993 can use the ‘30 under 30’ free ticket type, even if they are turning 30 years old during the year 2024 before the Conference.

How do I register for more than two EJN member tickets?

EJN member organisations can make two free registrations. Extra registrants born after 31/12/1993 can use the ”30 under 30” promotion using the same private LINK/CODE. All other colleagues will need to register through the “Paid EJN members ticket” (€260).

My EJN member organisation already used the 2 free tickets and I am older than 30. What do I do?

You can register through the “Paid EJN member” ticket type (€260). This ticket gives access to the full conference and concerts programme, cultural visits on Sunday, lunches and dinners on Friday and Saturday, and to all the EJN members-only programme on Thursday.

How can I receive an invoice for my ticket for the European Jazz Conference 2024?

Invoices are automatically generated by Eventbrite and you can download them from the Eventbrite portal after registration, by selecting "print tax invoice". In case of any special request please contact: registrations@europejazz.net

How do I receive the travel reimbursement if I am an EJN member and am entitled for it?

In order to get the travel reimbursement EJN members need to fill an online form that they will receive straight after the conference, where they upload supporting documents (tickets, boarding pasees, etc), and indicate the bank account for the transfer.
