Join E.DSO on 27 November 2025 in Brussels for the E.DSO Policy Conference "DSOs Shaping Tomorrow's Energy System", a timely in-person event to explore how to accelerate Europe’s electrification and modernise electricity distribution grids.

Electricity Distribution System Operators (DSOs) play a central role in driving and implementing innovation in the energy sector, operating distribution networks that are at the heart of Europe’s energy transition. They connect renewable generation, enable electrification of transport and heating, and ensure reliable service for households and businesses. To deliver on the EU’s decarbonisation and electrification goals, accelerating the development of distribution network is an urgent priority. This requires coordinated action across permitting authorities, system operators, regulators, and policymakers to streamline processes, mobilise investment, and leverage digital innovation, all while ensuring affordability and security of supply. This is a particularly significant moment, notably marked by the upcoming release of the European Grids Package proposal by the end of the year, with attention firmly on measures to accelerate the roll-out of Europe’s electricity distribution infrastructure.

Against this backdrop, the E.DSO Policy Conference has the ambition to gather EU policymakers, DSOs, and key stakeholders to discuss the most pressing issues around electrification, including streamlining permitting and grid connection procedures, fostering digitalisation and cybersecurity, ensuring dedicated investment frameworks for future-proof distribution grids, and empowering the role of consumers in the energy transition.

By tackling these core aspects, this event will provide a unique forum to exchange perspectives and define concrete steps needed to accelerate electrification and grid modernisation, setting the direction for the years ahead.

The draft programme will be available soon on the E.DSO website. In the meantime, secure your seat and register!
