Come join us for a special evening at the chapelle in the Grand Hospice as we experience the mesmerizing talent and artistry of Duo Vona.

DuoVona was first established as an ensemble in 2022 when guitarists Hope Cramsie (UK) and
Ingrid Horvei Lyslo (Norway) met in the international guitar community in Brussels.
Taking inspiration from traditional music, classical, jazz and post-minimalism, the duo focuses
primarily on contemporary music and their own arrangements that explore the breadth and depth
of sonic possibilities on the guitar, and to showcase it as an instrument of colour, sensitivity and
versatility. The aim of the project is to contribute more to the duo repertory through their own
arrangements and commissions and to champion music by women composers, having commissioned new works by Laura Snowden, Delyth Field and Zahrah Hutton.
The duo gave their official debut at the Brussels Guitar Laboratory Festival in 2025 and released a video in collaboration with Siccas Guitars. Recent highlights include a performance at Wimbledon Guitar Society and serpentine.iii concert series.


Ingrid Horvei Lyslo is a Norwegian classical guitarist from Førde in Norway. She has shown herself as a genuine and mature musician with a solid technique and expressive musicality. As a versatile musician, she has played both solo and chamber music concerts in Norway, Denmark, Japan, Belgium, Italy, Germany and France. She is active in the chamber music groups Trio Franor, Duo Vona, Duo Davidsen/Lyslo and Duo Aia. Ingrid is currently the artistic leader of Gitarekspressen, a classical guitar concert series held in Bergen, Norway. Ingrid is a recipient of the Governements Grant for Artists from the Norwegian Art Councils in 2026.

Hope Cramsie is a musician based in London. She has performed at venues such as Wigmore Hall and Kings Place for London Guitar Festival as a Young Artist of the International Guitar Foundation. She is also a Young Artist of the Worshipful Company of Musicians since being awarded the Ivor Mairants Guitar Prize in 2023, and holds First Prize at Leicester Music Festival Guitar Competition.
Hope completed her Bachelors in classical guitar at the Royal College of Music in London, and her Masters at Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels as a pupil of Antigoni Goni.
She recently finished her Artist Diploma studies at RCM, studying guitar with Gary Ryan and Chris Stell, and theorbo with Jakob Lindberg, gratefully supported by the Elmley Foundation and as an RCM Ian Evan’s Lombe Scholar, Help Musicians Postgraduate Awardee and Julian Bream Trust Scholar.
