About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

“Draw the Line, Play the Note: The Balance Within” An expressive art and Ukulele workshop to explore your inner freedom and structure.

Discover the concepts of Boundaries and Autonomy in your life, experience the power of the harmony between them. At the creativity lab we will have a personal deep dive assisted by Ukulele and community drawing tools.

Through playful exercises of art therapy tools and ukulele we explore the concepts of freedom and autonomy and what the harmony of these can create..

We all understand the importance of balance in our lives. But how do we find balance between boundaries and autonomy? Boundaries are the limitations or guidelines. Autonomy is the freedom to act, think and make creative choices.Without boundaries, autonomy could lead to chaos or a lack of direction, while on the other side of the coin boundaries can suppress individual growth and creativity.

The harmony of the two is crucial in establishing an environment where people can thrive.

During this fun collaborative session we will explore these concepts by weaving art making activities inspired by Art Therapy and music making activities with the Ukulele to discover ways of unlocking intrinsic motivation and inviting more harmony into our life.

Get ready to experiment, play, meet others and have fun.
