Knight Moves was at the forefront when the "City Deal E-Inclusion by Design" was rolled out. They helped to guide multiple big cities and communes to take a critical look at their services and how they could make them more digitally inclusive. That's where the Digital Inclusion by Design Index was used.
So the question here is: what is the the Digital Inclusion by Design Index and how did Knight Moves help cities put this into practice?
Karen is a Service Designer at Knight Moves who knows how to get people and their brains moving applying her expertise in educational sciences. You can find her working on projects of all kinds with the goals to build a more (digitally) inclusive world, from coaching the City of Ostend to training Aquafin employees in impactful innovation.
Together with 13 flemish cities and the VGC, she helped translated the lessons learned from the City Deal – e-inclusion by design to a concrete, ready-to-use “Toolbox Mensgericht Ontwerpen”.
