Are you a woman university student in STEM? If so, we are excited to invite you to participate in Women STEM Up for Good–a certificate program focused on giving you the specialized skills you need to start your dream career changing the world!

This online certificate course is designed to both ignite your passion and make you stand out for internships and jobs.

Designing Sustainable and Inclusive Cities. For those who want to ensure the daily lives of all are happy and healthy.

Session 1: Principles of sustainable and inclusive urban design

Session 2: Gender-responsive urban design

Session 3: Smart cities and technology for sustainability

Session 4: Evironmental sustainability and circular economy in urban design

Session 5: Resilience in cities + final group project

Each session will last 75 minutes. You'll be co-creating "Tech for Good" projects addressing gender equality issues. Attend all sessions and receive a certificate that you can add to LinkedIn and your CV!

Not only that, but 5 students will be chosen to attend the Innovation Impact Collaborative Challenge, a 3-day event in Thessaloniki, Greece in September--all expenses paid! (note: only students in Belgium, Greece, Norway, and Sweden are eligible)

Frequently asked questions

Who can attend this event?

Any woman* university student studying STEM! However, only students from Norway, Sweden, Belgium, and Greece are eligible to be chosen for the hackathon due to funding requirements. (*woman is defined as any person identifying as a woman)

Can I attend only one or two of the sessions?

You can! However, you won't be eligible for the certificate and priority will be given to students who are able to attend all sessions.

What kinds of activities will we do in the sessions?

Each session is very interactive! While there will be some knowledge sharing in various forms , such as a short lecture and discussion of case studies, much of the time will be spent discussing and using both your experiences and your new knowledge to create solutions.
