Dendrochronalia is een eendaags folk festival in de pittoreske, West-Vlaamse stad Brugge. Idavoll brengt jullie wederom een unieke line up van vier folk bands. Ook zorgen we deze keer voor een mini folk marktje.

PYROLYSIS
Celtic Folk – NL

Met optredens op grote festivals als Castlefest, Elfia en Middeleeuws Winschoten is Pyrolysis een begrip in de Nederlandse fantasy-folkscene. Pyrolysis combineert Keltische speedfolk met gipsy- en pirateninvloeden, gekruid met een DIY punk attitude, wat resulteert in een uniek en energiek geluid. Ze werken momenteel aan hun 7e studioalbum.

Blóð Dýr
Neo-pagan folk – FR

Afkomstig uit Dourdan, Frankrijk, neemt Blóð Dýr je mee naar het hart van oude Europese culturen. Door traditionele en moderne instrumenten te combinerenen met verschillende zangtechnieken creëren ze tribal sferen om hun verhalen te begeleiden. Wij zijn zeer blij hen een podium aan te kunnen bieden op Dendrochronalia!

OSTARA
Folk – BE
Altijd al eens een wereldreis willen maken? Dit is je kans! Ostara brengt de hele wereld naar Brugge, naar Dendrochronalia! Gepakt met een diatonische accordeon, keltishe harp, percussie en hun stem nemen ze je mee op avontuur doorheen verschillende landen, culturen en verhalen.
Tip: ze hebben onlangs hun eerste CD uitgebracht, wees dus niet bang om hen op te zoeken op streamingdiensten!

AMBRAZAR
Balfolk – BE
Eigenzinnige balfolk met gipsy en country invloeden, gewoonweg onomschrijfelijk! Ambrazar is al jaar en dag een gevestigde waarde in het Brugse café/folk circuit, deze vijf enthousiastelingen voelen zich dan ook volledig thuis op een podium. Ambiance verzekerd!

Dendrochronalia is a one day folk festival in the picturesque, west-flemish city of Brugges. Yet again, Idavoll will provide you with a unique line up of four folk bands. We will also be setting up a mini folk market.

Having performed at major festivals such as Castlefest, Elfia, and Middeleeuws Winschoten, Pyrolysis is well known in the Dutch fantasy-folk scene. Hailing from Dourdan, France, Blóð Dýr takes you to the heart of ancient European cultures. Combining traditional and modern instruments with different vocal techniques, they create tribal vibes as the soundtrack for their stories.
We are very happy to give them a stage at Dendrochronalia!

OSTARA
Folk – BE

Ever wanted to make a trip around the world? This is your chance! Ostara brings the whole world to Bruges, to Dendrochronalia! Equiped with diatonic accordion, celtic harp, percussion and vocals they take you on a journey through different countries, cultures and tales.
Tip: they just released their first album ‘Esperanto’, so don’t be shy to check them out on streaming platforms!

AMBRAZAR
Balfolk – BE

Headstrong balfok with gipsy and country influences, simply indescribable! Ambrazar has been an established name in the Bruges pub/folk circuit for years, these five enthusiasts feel completely at home on stage. Party guaranteed!
