About this event

During this conference, the BOIC wishes to show that it aims to be an example in the implementation of concrete actions towards gender equity in the sports world.

The Belgian Olympic and Interfederal Committee (BOIC) is the National Olympic Committee (NOC) that represents the Olympic Movement and its values in our country. Like the 205 other NOCs, the BOIC is recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The BOIC is an 'inter-federal' NOC. It covers the national sports federations which usually consist of two or even three community leagues.

Team Belgium's vision is stated as follows on its official channels: 'To contribute to the image of a successful country and share this success with everyone by significantly increasing the number of Belgian athletes in the world top (Top 8) at the Olympic Games.'
