Welcome to CLIL Mondays! Join us every Monday for a fun and interactive online event where you can improve your Content and Language Integrated Learning skills. Whether you're a teacher, student, or just curious about CLIL, this event is perfect for you. CLIL Mondays used to be organised by the Aston Centre for Applied Linguistics (Aston University, Birmingham, UK) between 2021 and 2024. From Autumn 2025, CLIL Mondays will be hosted by the Learner Language Network | Learner Language Network | University of Antwerp.

Each session will cover different topics and provide valuable insights. Don't miss out on this opportunity to enhance your CLIL knowledge and connect with like-minded individuals. See you there!

In this session, Bernadette Clinton and Raquel Tola Rego will share the context of their work in the Borough of Hackney, London. Raquel will then demonstrate how Spanish can be placed at the center of the primary curriculum, with concrete examples of how she works with teachers in all years and across many subjects.

She will include examples of joint work in Science, History, Geography as well as her own subject sessions delivering Art and Music. The session will include an interactive component (as much as the online format allows) offering participants a dynamic and engaging experience.

(Raquel is a talented and inspiring presenter, and we look forward to sharing their innovative approach with you.)
