About this event
Clean Hydrogen is at the core of the REPowerEU Plan and the Fit for 55 package, major initiatives within the European Green Deal.
Europe needs to strive for more sustainability and autonomy when it comes to the production and supply of clean energy. REPowerEU (published on 18 May 2022) is focused on ending the EU’s dependence on Russian fossil fuels and fast-forwarding the green transition. It completes the implementation of the European hydrogen strategy while further increasing the European ambitions for renewable hydrogen as an important energy carrier.
Universities of science and technology play a crucial role in this endeavour. With this EuroTech Deep Dive, we would like to offer a platform to discuss various aspects, from hydrogen production to handling to usage, including different perspectives: policy, industry and research.
