I don't work for an NGO, is this event for me?

Yes! The Climate Drinks are open to anyone who cares about climate justice and human rights. You don't have to be working in the sector. Only fossil fuel lobbyists are denied entry!

I will arrive a bit late / only be able to stay for a short while, is that OK?

Yes! Stay for five minutes, stay for five hours - this is an open space to come and go whenever it works for you.

I don't know anyone else going, will I feel awkward?

Lots of people come to the climate drinks alone! We have a sticker system to find people who are open to chatting, and some optional conversation prompts if you need them. Part of the fun is getting out of our usual bubbles!

Is the venue accessible?

There are some steps to the entrance of the bar. If you have accessibility concerns, the staff will be able to help, please reach out at: https://mazette.brussels/contact/. There is a large terrace for those who need quieter spaces.

Join us on 29 April 2026 for a round of drinks with other people who care about the climate and social justice. Anyone who is interested is welcome - bring your housemates, coworkers and delivery driver. Fossil fuel lobbyists not invited.

As usual, it's networking optional, with weird icebreaker suggestions included. And if you don't want to talk to people and just want to have a drink staring at the void? That's fine too - we've been there.

Come as you are, no dress code. Entry is free, with optional donation to help us keep running these events (we are volunteer-led!).
