About this event

Are you preparing a project proposal under the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) Programme and aim to ensure your application stands out?

This interactive online workshop is designed for civil society organisations, NGOs and public bodies, with limited experience in EU funding. Using real examples from open Calls (including the currently open EQUAL and Remembrance Calls), we’ll walk through the CERV application process step-by-step.

While the focus is on CERV, the principles and insights shared apply broadly to other EU programmes managed directly by the European Commission as well. Whether you're applying now or preparing for future opportunities, this session will equip you with practical knowledge you can apply immediately.

The workshop is interactive and limited to 12 participants to ensure space for your questions and individual challenges.

At the end of this workshop, you will know how to:

· Interpret Call documents beyond the surface - identifying key priorities, hidden expectations and how to respond to them

· More confidently complete the application template - knowing what evaluators expect in each section and how to tailor your content for maximum impact

· Structure your project plan clearly - including objectives, activities, milestones and deliverables in line with CERV standards

· Avoid common pitfalls that lead to low scores in the evaluation

Indicative agenda:

* Q&A after each sub-section

13h00 – 13h10 Welcome & Introduction – What the EU expects you to deliver in your proposal

13h10 – 13h20 Navigating your application in the EU Funding & Tenders Portal

13h20 – 13h40 Part A (Administrative Form) of the application template

13h40-13h50 Operational & Financial Capacity of your organisation

14h10 – 14h40 How to approach the 'Quality' section

14h40 – 14h50 Short Break
