About this event

We are excited to invite you to the second event of a thought-provoking series, “Antwerp Crisis Conversations” hosted by the Chair of Crisis Governance, on May 22nd.

During this second session, we go beyond the theoretical insights and start exploring some practical use cases. We introduce our partner, the Port of Antwerp-Bruges, who serves as an important hub for community building, particularly during times of crisis. Ben Windey, Incident Management Officer at Port of Antwerp-Bruges and network coordinator of the Fire Service Network Seaport-Scheldt will leverage recent examples from the Port of Antwerp-Bruges (including farmers' protests and an explosion in a high-voltage cabin) to illustrate crisis governance. He will discuss how to create a supportive environment at the port to establish the Fire Service Network Seaport-Scheldt.
