In January 2020, EERA launched the SUPEERA project supporting the implementation of the SET-Plan, integrating it at the same time into the broader context of the Clean Energy Transition. Several are the objectives that EERA and its project partners are set to achieve through this inspirational and forward-thinking project: among those, the analysis of the EU policy landscape is of great importance and it is mainly fulfilled through the publication of policy briefs and the holding of webinars linked to the EU policy agenda.
Digitalisation will be a revolutionary enabler for the European Green Deal, in manners and synergies that are still widely unexplored. Indeed, not only digitalisation will be crucial in improving the productivity, accessibility, reliability, and sustainability of energy systems around the world, but it also offers great opportunities for innovation and job creation.
This webinar is therefore intended to highlight the R&I, policy and business priorities regarding the Clean Energy Transition in Europe in their complex relations with the unfolding digital landscape, as well as contribute to developing innovative solutions to address these challenges.
