Capitant Leuven
Since its foundation in Antwerp in 2010, Capitant has become the largest financial student organisation in Belgium, active in five different cities, introducing students with a keen interest in finance to the financial world. Furthermore, we wish to extend our focus beyond the world of finance and to the global economy and business as a whole.
Capitant focuses on three core values: knowledge, skills, and professionalism. These are reflected in our offer of case studies and workshops, where we allow students from all levels and backgrounds to increase their skills with the knowledge presented in our extra-curricular forum. The latter consists of lectures like “Building Empires: the Importance of Finance” and workshops on the stock market and alternative investments. On a national level, we organise a finance trip to London and Amsterdam as well as specific tracks concerning Investment Banking and Asset Management. Here, students can visit some of the biggest companies in the industry.
As for professionalism, Capitant has created a broad network of alumni and partner organisations, to guide students in the financial sector so they can build their future careers.
Lastly, Capitant is a student society that welcomes all students with an interest in Finance, regardless of social background, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation or any other discriminatory characteristics.
