American Library - Memorial to the 2nd Air Division, 8th Air Force, United States Army Air Forces.
A library and war memorial, first opened in 1963.
We celebrate American life & culture by making available American books to the people of NorfolkWe foster understanding of the historic and contemporary special relationship between the USA and the UK through an events, education and outreach programmeWe increase knowledge of the 2nd Air Division USAAF around the world by collecting, maintaining, preserving & making accessible physically and digitally a specialist collection.
American Library is managed by Norfolk County Council through Norfolk Library and Information Service and is funded by the Memorial Trust of the 2nd Air Division USAAF registered UK Charity no. 269047.

The library is open 10am-5pm Monday to Friday and 9am-5pm on Saturdays.
