We, the members of the Libertarian Party, challenge the cult of the omnipotent state and defend the rights of the individual.

We are people who have realized that it’s never ok—for an individual or the government—to use force on anyone who hasn’t first initiated force, fraud, or theft on anyone else.

We recognize that the two old dinosaur parties are basically the same, just with different color stripes.

We want to break out of dependency on government to solve society’s problems, and seek a world where people are loosed from regulations, taxes, subsidies, and mandates, free to run their own lives voluntarily.

We know it’s an uphill battle in government-obsessed Washington. But there are more people out there like us than you might realize. And sometimes one voice is all you need to hear to wake up.
