M.A.H.S. - Epsom
M.A.H.S. Epsom is the second club to be set up under the Toby Manley Academy of Historical Martial Arts banner. Toby has studied with the best instructors in the world. The most notable is Andrew Feest from SSA. Toby has contributed to the art by introducing multiple disciplines to the system including Muay Thai, Wrestling, Calisthenics, Gymnastics, Body Weight Strength & Fitness, Nutrition, Yoga and Cold exposure. Turning the Art into a Modern Practical System.
Toby Manley has been recognised as a Master of Arms accredited by The British Combat Association, confirming the heritage as a 4th Generation Master.
The Epsom chapter is run by Dan Miglioranza a 5th Generation Master who has trained under Toby for the last 8 years. Dan has developed the Quarterstaff and Stick Fighting syllabus to meet the high standards and criteria required to honour the clubs heritage and ethos and to ensure the functionality of the system is retained.
