Turning Point Central London
Turning Point have been working in Central London for 50 years. We provide regular free online and in person workshops to local professionals to help improve understanding of substance use issues and to help professionals meet the needs of local residents.
Our training is based on the real life stories of people we have supported. Our trainers are experienced local experts passionate about recovery and change. All training includes key harm reduction messages and is informed by research and latest developments in the sector.
Last Year we ran 89 sessions for professionals attended by a total of 614 local professionals. Attendees included NHS staff, police, housing professionals, social workers and many other professionals from a multitude of services across central London.
Our training programme is informed by the needs of professionals and is provided in partnership with local services. It is integrated with Children and Adult Safeguarding Board training as well the training provided across rough sleepers services. Where appropriate we co-deliver training with partners to promote joint working.
All sessions are free to attend, including the Face to face sessions.
