The Open Arts Center
The Open Arts Center is a nonprofit creative arts center that will provide after school programming, self-directed learning, and community-sourced mentorship for Central Oregon’s teens, between the ages of 12-18. Our mission is to cultivate a space to encourage personal and creative development while fostering community and belonging.
At the OAC, we’re dedicating half of our center to adult working artists and creative community members — those who need space not only to make art, but to exchange ideas, ignite collaboration, and build lasting impact. This centralized hub will serve as a vibrant gathering place where painters, performers, writers, makers, and educators can work side-by-side — a space designed for cross-pollination between disciplines, generations, and communities. We’ll have 17 artist studios and a community membership model for the wider community.
The OAC will also be available to the larger community as a rental for mission aligned workshops and events.
