Sit Spot Club invites you to the forest to do absolutely nothing.
The supportive environment provides an accessible, evidence-based approach to nature immersion that's free and open to everyone.
Founded by certified Forest Therapy Guides and a Nature+Health Researcher, Sit Spot Club creates space for a deceptively simple practice: sitting quietly in natural settings for 30 minutes.
Research demonstrates that forest environments with diverse plant life and quiet soundscapes significantly improve psychological well-being. Rather than adding more "to-dos" to your nature experience, we remove them all.
We meet on the second Saturday of each month in Pacific Spirit Park and in all weather conditions. Each gathering includes 30 minutes of quiet sitting followed by optional social time. No experience required. Bring something comfortable to sit on (if you want) and weather-appropriate clothing.
