Lin Laurie

I am a technical writer, instructional designer, and artificial intelligence strategist. I was the president of the Puget Sound Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication until the national chapter went bankrupt. I took over the website and other accounts to continue supporting the communities that have provided me with a great career. I am hosting a few remaining events that I had planned to offer in 2025, and then will begin offering events based on my philosophy that AI should be embraced by all instead of feared. If we learn to use it to reduce the boring parts of our job, we can spend more time on the parts that bring us wonder and joy.

I plan to offer classes and workshops to the following audiences:

* Technical Writers - Workshops

* Instructional Designers - Workshops

* Everyone curious - 1-hour free events to show people how to use AI for everyday projects

I will also start working with a partner in late June to teach the workshops. Her name is Laurie Linn. Really.
