Bring Your Baby Pub Quiz
From the creator of ‘Bring Your Baby Guided London Walks’, 'Bring Your Baby Pub Quiz' takes place during the day all over London and the United Kingdom for parents who want a boost of fun brain stimulation while at the same time caring for their little ones!
Our founder Lucy Madison created and devised Bring Your Baby Pub Quiz back in 2019 as a way of catering for people who were missing out on their regular pub quiz or evening out after having babies.
'Bring Your Baby Pub Quiz' deliberately aims to make the event as much like a regular pub quiz as possible, while understanding there is a need for a slightly slower pace with more breaks in order to care for a baby at the same time.
Our quizzes take place at lunchtime at fully-licensed venues - between 12pm-2.30pm so our customers get a decent length of time to socialise. (You're welcome to stay on after the quiz, too.) Settle in with the picture round from 12pm, with 5 more rounds (including general knowledge, music, connection and themed) starting at 12.30pm and finishing at 2.30pm (we know some people have to make school runs!).
All our questions are original, lovingly written by a professional TV quiz writer (if Anthony is your host, that’s him!). He somehow has an amazing knack of writing a variety of questions which are pitched perfectly for our audience.
Team size is 6 maximum to make it fair on everyone, such as smaller teams of 2. Let us know in advance at Lucy@bringyourbaby.org if you are bringing more than one team and would like your tables to be placed next to each other. There is also an option to leave a note when you book.
Top draw prizes are items team members can share, such as bar vouchers, beauty boxes, bottles of wine and chocolates (no baby toys or certificates featuring bunny rabbits - you didn't regress in age when you had a baby).
In most venues we bring a mobile baby change station with luxury 'The Gilded Bird' wedge change mats and sanitary products, meaning you don't need to miss any questions while changing baby. Each venue also has its own baby change facilities and high chairs.
Food and drink menus include vegan and gluten-free options at most venues, and many include kids' options (please check individual listings for further information). Please note food and drink is not included in ticket price.
Ticket price is competitively priced against events such as baby classes and this is a two-and-a-half-hour event which has been designed to be highly inclusive for parents.
We do not use upstairs function rooms or venues with more than the odd step, when our host, Anthony, will help with buggies if needed. We understand that for many reasons people may not be able to wear a sling or lift a buggy upstairs. Anthony moves tables around before our customers arrive so that buggies can be accommodated around tables as comfortably as possible. Please email us at Lucy@bringyourbaby.org to let us know if you are bringing multiple children or a mobility aid (such as a wheelchair or scooter), so we can make sure we make your visit as easy as possible.
Whether you want to do the quiz on your own, join another team or bring a team for your meet up, it’s up to you! Please email Lucy@bringyourbaby.org or leave a note upon booking if you would like us to put you with a team. This also really helps if you are booking separately to join an existing team so we can allocate your team the correct table size. (Our events very often sell out in advance, so organisation and use of space for comfort room is really important to us.)
Our founder Lucy Madison is a life-long London history nerd and mum to 8 year-old Evan.
